'Looks like all the major after market players are taking advantage of the fact that FORD has elected to short the demand for a Raptor in 2015. Check out Hennessy’s off-road version of the 2015 F150. They took the new aluminum-bodied Ford F-150 5.0L V8 engine and Supercharged it giving it 600+ horsepower! The engines horsepower comes from the the Roots-type supercharger packing 8 psi of boost allowing the 5.0L V8 to push more air through the high-flow air induction system and stainless-steel exhaust. Upgraded fuel injectors help feed the supercharged V8, under command of Hennessey’s proprietary engine management calibration. The VelociRaptor comes with a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty from Hennessey.

To handle the dirt Hennessy added 33 inch BFGoodrich tires on 17 inch Hennessey wheels, custom off-road coilover suspension, upgraded front and rear bumpers, front winch, LED light bars, Brembo brakes and more. It’s got a ways to go but with the proper suspension package the VelociRaptor 600 could be a viable alternate to a Raptor. The trick is getting the electronics to work with each other so you don’t have to pull fuses!
