Looking for a truck to thrash around in the rocks with, Nick Isenhouer acquired a pre-owned 1995 Ford Lightning F-150. To turn it into the rock crawling rockstar Nick desired, he started with a ’95 Ford Bronco transmission swap, upgrade to 2005 Ford Superduty axles, Desolate Motorsports front kit and linked rear with Fox coil-overs on all corners. Method 103 Beadlock wheels on 40” tires ensured the lightning could take on the rocks and KC Hilites lighting allow Nick to see where he’s driving on those night rides. Outside of those upgrades and mods, the truck is essentially stock, including the beloved OBS '95 Ford Lightning regular cab/ short bed body. The “Miller” Lightning truck even rocks the original engine with over 200,000 miles on it!
