Most people wouldn't cut up a 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with only 7,700 miles. But most people don't commission four-door, vintage-styled flat fender trucks that blend 1940s aesthetics with modern capability.

The original Dodge Power Wagon debuted in 1945 as America's first civilian four-wheel-drive truck, built for farmers, loggers, and anyone who needed to get work done in places other trucks couldn't reach. Its flat fenders, upright grille, and no-nonsense design became iconic, but the truck itself was primitive by modern standards, a flathead six, manual everything, and a ride that could rattle your fillings loose.
This build answers a simple question - what if you could have that classic Power Wagon look with everything a modern Ram 2500 offers? The solution starts with a complete 2022 Ram Power Wagon, a truck that already comes from the factory with electronic lockers, a disconnecting sway bar, a 12,000-lb winch, and the 410-horsepower 6.4L Hemi. Then you remove the modern body entirely and replace it with hand-built flat fender sheetmetal styled after the 1940s originals, stretched and widened to fit a full four-door crew cab configuration, making the truck genuinely usable rather than purely nostalgic.

The result is a truck that looks like it rolled out of 1948 but drives like it's 2022, because underneath, it still is.

Matt Tisdale and his team at Tisdale Coachworks in Winslow, Indiana fabricated the body and married it to the Ram chassis as a fully running, driving platform. Working alongside Jordan Hettinga at HKW Trucks, the build was outfitted with suspension, brakes, steering, and rolling stock that match the capability of the modern Power Wagon underneath. The truck sits with a confident, planted stance on Method 709-HD wheels, blending modern strength and performance with a design that feels at home under classic styling.
