Sand season is that glorious time of year when UTV owners flock to their nearest sand dunes to shred through the fine sand. But what happens when summer is in full effect and touching sand can melt your skin? Off road parts manufacturer Knine Racing has been developing a solution that will bring creature comforts that are lacking in the UTV world. Enter the Knine Racing’s Mini Raptor.

The one you see here is owned by legendary off-road racer Jesse Jones and while at first glance may look like a Ford Raptor, it’s really a truck body on a Can-Am Maverick X3. It features a sealed cab fully equipped with air conditioning and heat as well as soundproofing for those extra-long days on the trail. On all four corners you’ll find Fox shocks and Tensor Tires DSR35 wrapped around Method Race Wheels 405 UTV Series

In addition to the Vintage Air HVAC system and the body panels, Knine built the roll cage that perfectly fits the OEM chassis. The interior also gets a bit of truck styling with a truck-style dash that blends in the OEM Maverick X3 dash and a center layout perfect for Rugged Radios and HVAC controls. A combination of Sparco’s steering wheel, bucket seat and harnesses straps Jesse and his passenger comfortably for any dune session.

Jesse Jones says, “My favorite thing about the Knine is the uniqueness.”

It’s hard to beat something that will give you the best of both. Jesse Jones’ Knine machine blurs the line between off-road UTV capability and luxury. Now if we can only get Jesse to let use drive it down in Baja.
