Jason Coleman and the Coleman Motorsports crew started in the 13th position after loosing the motor a round before Vegas to Reno. Jason would launch of the line and just go to work. The silt was claiming teams left and right, but Coleman kept pushing. By Pit 1 Jason had caught and passed 6th place. While driving a good pace and only 20 miles left Colemans Voltage regulator was acting up and actually blew up the battery. With no electrical Jason and his teammate found another driver that had pulled over because his car caught on fire. Luckily there was not a lot of flames, so their vehicle was in somewhat good shape. After a few messages exchanged another team brought Jason a new battery and 3 hours of downtime the team continued racing.
