We sat down with Rodrigo Ampudia the owner and driver of the #36 Papas & Beer Pro2. Rodrigo finished a solid 6th place last year and was upfront with quite a bit. He gave us a quick lowdown on how his off-season has been.
Rodrigo, thanks for giving us a quick minute. How is your off season going? And how is it treating you?
Its been great, we filmed The Doonies 2 video, currently doing some demos for Monster Jam and in a couple weeks I will start testig the Pro2 for the 2016 LOORRS season.
Dang, I bet Doonies 2 was rad to be apart of. How did you spend your holidays and what did you do?
It was nice to spend some time with my extended family and friends.
Oh cool, how did your 2015 go and did it go as planned?
2015 was okay, we are shooting for an improved 2016 program.
You had a good run in 2015 any big changes for 2016? Any big goals?
Yeah we it was an okay season but more training over all.
Anything in the works that we do not know about?
We are always working on different projects with Papas & Beer, Monster Energy and Lucas Oil so just stay tuned.
Oh we will! Is there anything you are stoked about for the upcoming season?
